Gemma - Manager , Safeguarding lead & Level 5 practitioner, SENco
I've worked in childcare for over 14 years. Mum of two and a foster parent. Hot on safeguarding and the world's best resource buyer! Loves all animals and has reptiles, rabbits, a parrot and a dog. Gemma and her family love horse riding and travelling the world - climbing mountains, visiting beaches and exploring new places. She runs Rugrats and Two Mile Ash Preschool, sharing her time equally between both settings.
Georgie - Deputy manager, deputy safeguarding lead, level 3 practitioner - Purple group
I've worked in childcare for four years. Im a mum of three children and our role-play practitioner at Rugrats. I loves thinking up new planning ideas, getting stuck into messy play and i am the best playdough maker! I loves family days out espically our annual holidays all together. I have a great understanding of Sen and safeguarding.
Thea - Level 3 practitioner, Third in charge, Yellow group
I started at two mile ash preschool helping once a week. I am now full time and have completed my level 3 deploma in childcare. I transfered over to Rugrats preschool for their opening in 2024.
I'm the organiser of the group and always know where everything is! My favourite place is New York, and in my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and a little retail therapy.
Emma - Level 3 practitioner
I've been in childcare for many, many years and have three children of my own. I'm the bubbly one, get stuck in straight away and am super observant. I'm qualified in SEN and have bags of knowledge. In my spare time I enjoy walking, shopping, seeing friends and watching my son play football.
Rebecca - Practitioner.
Im Bec, I have six children of my own and two lovely little grandsons. I'm the chatty one who can talk for hours! I have a bulldog puppy called Dexter and love, love, love music - everyone is always singing in our house. Before joining Rugrats, I worked in wraparound care, nurseries and schools.
Saraya - Volunteer
I currently volunteer at Rugrats on Thursdays and Fridays. I am safeguarding trained and enjoy supporting all children in their learning and development.
Quiet and thoughtful, with a natural understanding of SEN and a calm, caring approach. Outside of the setting, I have two children and enjoy Japanese food, socialising and going to the gym.

Kelly - Admin
Mum of three. I have worked at Tma preschool for over 9 years; Now I look after the admin for both settings. I enjoy holidays with my family, days out and looking after my 104-year-old Nanna. My favourite colour is pink - pink and sparkly!

About Rugrats Preschool
Our training
All the core staff are qualified level 3 or above with a vast of experience with working with children. All the staff attend regular training and courses, including safeguarding training, first aid and in house training to support your child’s development and learning. Our staff are dedicated to proving the best care, support and development for your child and are passionate about working in partnership with parents and carers.
